Have to take a bit of a loss, but your gain. If you prefer a bit more bass and a closed back, these are fabulous. Same comfort as the open backs, like pillows on your ears. These actually go much louder than the open backs, don't take as much power to drive even with planar magnetic drivers. Really solid build with the wood ear cups. I will throw in this cable upgrade for $50 which is worth $150. A big upgrade for sure. The one that came with them is a bit thin and cheap.
